2925 Kokoda Challenge

Once again we have been invited to musically support the well known Charity – 2025 Kokoda Challenge Brisbane.
For those who haven’t attended previous, it is a big and early mornings effort – but well worth it and it is very well appreciated by all.
VENUE: Brookfield Recreation Reserve, Brookfield Rd, Brookfield,
PARKING: VIP carparking will be in the cemetery carpark that joins the reserve. (VIP Pass as attached) Plus it will be busy with lots of competitors attending. SUGGEST ARRIVE EARLY.
REFRESHMENTS: A coffee van, BBQ, water, and refreshments will be on site, but I always advise to bring water and snacks if required.
TIMINGS: ***6:15am*** Competitors will be arriving from 5.30am and the event will be commencing from 7am so tune up will be 6.15am at the cemetery area. We have to be in position at 7.10am as a Guard of Honour for the first of the competitors to walk past.
FORMAT: There will be three races we are required to perform prior to starting:
7.30am – 48 KM
9am – 30 KM
11am – 18 KM
UNIFORM: Slouch Hat and ribbons. Bring your Jackets and ties which we will remove as the day wears on.
TUNES: The tunes need to be up beat so the following will be applied:
