NORMAN PARK 2023 Remembrance Service

The National Servicemen’s Sub Branch at Norman Park are celebrating their 20th Year for the Dedication of their memorial and it will be a big event for the Branch.
The Executive wishes to invite the P&DNSMB to commemorate this special Remembrance Day Service.
Details are yet to be issued but going on last year’s Service……
Date: Saturday 11 November 2022.
Venue: Memorial Gardens, 44 Norman Avenue, Norman Park (next to Norman Park Bowls club).
Parking: At the rear of the Bowls club.
Tune up: 9:15am for 10.30am commencement of Service.
Uniform: Slouch Hats and medals.
Tunes: Rose of Allandale/Rowan Tree, Greens Hills/Battles O’er, Scotland the Brave/Maries Wedding, Highland Cathedral & Solo piper (Lament) for Wreath Laying.
A lunch will be provided after the Service.
RSVP: 3 November if you are staying for lunch (for Catering purposes) – just note job sheet.

NOTE: We have also been invited to attend a Remembrance Day Service at Calamvale District Park organised by Councillor Angela Owen who is a great supporter of the Nashos and the Band which we also wish to support – this means seeking members to have two (2) bands (mini) perform. Please we may need everyone on board for this occasion to support the band at both events. More details to follow.
