The Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knight Hospitaller Gala dinner

EVENT: A request has been received for a FULL Band to attend and introduce the proceedings for The Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knight Hospitaller Function. A donation is being made to the band.
VENUE: Brisbane Convention Centre, Merivale St, South Brisbane.
DATE: Friday 6 September 2024.
TIMING: Tune up 6pm for a 7pm march in.
DRESS: Jackets, medals and SLOUCH HATS (requested).
PARKING: Vouchers to be sought to allow underground parking at the Convention Centre.
MEAL: NOT provided.
FORMAT: At 7pm the band will march in leading the guests in to the dinning room from the outer deck. The band will form up in a half-moon formation at the base of the stage and will cease playing whilst a solo piper (me) will pipe in the VIPS.
When the guests are all seated, I’ll rejoin the band and we will perform two tunes standing and march off on the third tune.
That is all that is required of us.

In formation: Infantry Song/Killaloe & I am Australian.
March off: Waltzing Mathilda/Scotland the Brave.
NOTE:
Repeat the tune until the band completes the formation.
I will arrange stages of I am Australian on those who nominate to attend.
